Please Help Me Answer These Questions…?

1. Under what circumstances, if any,
might the legalization or decriminalization
of drugs be beneficial to
society?
2. Do you consider alcohol a drug?
Should greater control be placed on
the sale of alcohol?
3. Do TV shows and films glorify drug
usage and encourage youths to enter
the drug trade? Should all images on
TV of drugs and alcohol be banned?
4. Is prostitution really a crime?
Should a man or woman have the
right to sell sexual favors if they so
choose?
5. Do you believe there should be
greater controls placed on the distribution
of sexually explicit material
on the Internet? Would you approve
of the online sale of sexually explicit
photos of children if they were
artificial images created by computer
animation?
6. Which statement is more accurate:
(a) Sexually aggressive men are
drawn to pornography because it
reinforces their preexisting hostile
drugs cause people to become
mentally ill. He asks you to comment
on other possible explanations. What
you tell him?
❚orientation to sexuality; or (b)
Reading or watching pornography
can make men become sexually
aggressive.
7. Are there objective standards of
morality? Does the existing criminal
code reflect contemporary national
moral standards? Or are laws banning
sexual behaviors and substance
abuse the product of a relatively few
“moral entrepreneurs” who seek to
control other people’s behaviors

    1. Yes I believe drugs should be legalized, they are not going away, so keep tabs on them, then the forbidden desire may cause some to stop doing them.
    2. I do believe alchohol is a drug, it does alter your thinking as a drug does. It is just a drug of choice, booze, weed, speed, crank, whatever.
    3. I think they do make them seem desirable, through lots of money and the parties, women, big homes, travel, it all looks very appetizing, even to some adults!
    4. I do not think prostitution is a crime, if an able thinking man wants to pay for sex, that is his choice, I think the women should carry cards with notification of health exams, showing they are not infected with STD’s. I feel that would do away with the old Pimp beating street walking idea of the women.
Get them off the street, let them work in hotel like settings. It would eliminate killings, and then they could pay a fee to the state, kind of like beauticians pay booth rental and fees.
    5. Porno on internet is another choice, but anything dealing with porno and a minor child should be banned, real or imaged. That is just plain sick and twisted.
    6. Porno is a catalst for some men who have sexual problems. It can cause one to want to go from fantasy to reality be it rape, incest, child molestation. Which can lead to further problems.
7.I think the morality code is still strong among a certain group of people. However, the laws are getting much more lenient towards many acts that were once called imorale.
You have both types of people running the country, the military, the media, medical, national sports and entertainment….so who knows anymore.

    1. Drugs shouldn’t be legalized. I see no benefit. You’ll still have crackheads and coke addicts that don’t take care of their children. Legal or not, it’s called an addiction for a reason.
    2. Yes, Alcohol is a drug. It alters your brain function. There should also in my opinion, be harsher punishments for store owners who sell to underage kids. But I also think stores should be limited to selling a certain amount of alcohol to someone who appears visibly intoxicated. If that person was drunk already, and was allowed to purchase more alcohol and then was in a head on collision with someone because they were legally intoxicated then the salesman at the store the alcohol was purchases should be held as an accomplice.
    3. Yes, and I think video games are worse. But I don’t think banning would help. There would still be ways to get bootleg copies, or slacker parents who don’t care that their kids play video games that could be contributing to the crime rate of todays youths.
    4. Prostitution might be one of the oldest known professions, but that shouldn’t be reason to make it legal. Technically a housewife could be a prostitue, ya know if she doesn’t work, because she sleeps with her husband, and in return gets a house, a car, a checking account. Don’t even get me started. Legalizing prostitution would be about the equivalent of saying adultery is ok. And it’s not.
    5. Yes, the controls aren’t sufficient enough. Anyone sick enough to buy computer generated kiddieporn is still a pedophile, no matter how you slice it.
    6. I don’t understand the question/statements.
    7. I think it’s more to help us all as a society. If everyone was allowed to be drunk or high all the time with no rescrictions more people would end up casualties of drunk driving accidents or overdoses. As for the sexual behaviors, if there weren’t laws then pedophiles would ruin the youth of our nation and be allowed to continue. No laws would mean they could legally do to kids what we’ve been trying to stop for years. I wouldn’t want to even think about something being done to any of my children. If anything were to happen to my children, and I found the person responsible, I’d be in prison for murder.
