If I have to answer on the basis of your question, you have stated that we are planning to start a business and taht means that you already have a partner and looking for one more partner. If you are looking a partner only on tha basis of saving tax it is better you can go with a female because for female enterpreneur there are tax breaks and excemptions based on the nature of the business they do. My advise is that before looking for a partner you have to decide what business you are planning to start so that it will be easy to decide your partner.

Male or Female, the gender is not suggestive of the efficiency. Yes, its for sure that females are less likely to cut-short, and generally remain bound to the core business values compared to their male counterpart.
A female is better She will work hard She will treat the business like her own Baby. She will look into details.She will be articulate. Then again you must know the traits of the person that is going to head the business This is coming from me i am a male
