Look, going to college is a safe answer. I personally don’t think they can teach to be an entrepreneur. Entrepreneur’s are very creative and call their own shots. They take risks. I think school stifles the creative factor people have. They teach you to memorize and reguriatate.
My advice, pay close attention to successful rich people in your area. Ask them for advice. I know several millionares in my area. Three of them have given me the best business advice I’ve ever heard. They’ve been there, they’ve done that. They know what it feels like. A college professor is going to have you read about it. Chances are they’ve never done anything business related.
I currently trade futures (this is to your investor question). I have (by asking around) met a few guys in my town who make their livings just trading. They have taught me scores of usefull tools.

Get any book written by Warren Buffet or Donald Trump. A good bookstore like Barnes & Noble or Borders can direct to the proper section for some excellent books and magazines.
A good start would be to go to college and take an Intro to business class.
